Vertically integrated with our Danish parent company, Tican are our key partner in our supply of Danish Bacon and Gammon products. Tican only use Danish pigs with full traceability to farm. The quality of the pigs are among the best in the global market, and we are able to maintain these high standards through comprehensive and proactive efforts in cooperation with our co-operative member farmers. All Danish farmers are subject to an independently audited scheme, covering animal welfare, safety and environmental standards.

 

British

All our British Bacon is manufactured at our Suffolk site from fresh, Farm Assured UK Pork. Product is approved under the BMPA’s UK Charter Quality Bacon scheme, cured from farm assured pork sourced from our network of approved suppliers who fulfill the requirements of the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Scheme. The whole supply chain from farm to finished pack is independently audited to the UK Charter Quality Bacon & Assured Food Standards (Red Tractor) Schemes. Our British range also includes Organic bacon and product certified under the RSPCA Freedom Foods Standard.
